It’s that time of year again where you’re either happy in love or you’re hating the people who have what you don’t. If you are one of the former, then this blog is for you! Seek has your recs for the best restaurants to spend Valentine’s Day with the one you love. Make sure you book a reservation if available, as these popular spots are almost impossible to get into without one on February 14.
Here’s the best recs for Valentine’s Day restaurants, according to Seek:
1. Fresco by Scotto
34 E 52nd St, New York, NY 10022
Rec by: @dressedtothej9s
Run by the famous NYC Scotto Family, this Italian restaurant does everything right! The food portions are generous and the ambiance is stunning. The potato and zucchini chips with gorgonzola cheese are a go-to appetizer and every entree is mouth-watering, fan favorite. Jeannie says the decor, staff, food and drinks are all top-notch. We promise you that your date will not be disappointed . Well, unless your profile photo is inaccurate, then we can’t help you.
2. Uluh
152A 2nd Ave, New York, NY 10003
Rec by: @bougeandrouge
Uluh is a trendy Chinese restaurant in the east village. According to Seek Curator Erica, Uluh is cozy and has great food for a reasonable price. You can impress your date here while not spending a ton of money. It’s a win, win for the budget constrained romantic!
3. Rafele
29 A 7th Ave S, New York, NY 10014
Rec by: @ayetastes
Another vote for Italian food from our Seek Curator Ajia is the uncompromising Rafele. Ajia says the meatballs are to die for, but the restaurant also offers vegan options as well as a gluten-free menu, so your date’s tastes will be met no matter what restrictions arise. According to the Rafele website, they work closely with farmers, markets, vendors and purveyors to bring the highest quality of rustic Italian recipes with a “New York” influence. Romance and flavor – all at one spot!
