A Perfect Fall Day In NYC

Fall has arrived and you know what that means, sweater-weather, warm coffee, and catching up on all of your favorite shows. But don’t let the change of weather keep you inside, we have a full list of recommendations perfect for you to visit this Fall season.

1. Felix Roasting Co

104 Greene St, New York, NY 10012, USA

Rec by: @brewishamericanprincess

No better way to start the day than with a cup of coffee and Felix Roasting Co. should be your top choice. Located in Soho, this spot has to be one of the most beautiful coffee shops NYC has to offer. It’s decorated in a Victorian-style aesthetic, perfect for your next Instagram post. This is definitely the top destination for artful espresso drinks, coffee cocktails, and high-quality organic blends.

2. Harvest Moon Farm & Orchard

130 Hardscrabble Rd, North Salem, NY 10560, USA

Rec by: @wanderlustandcomp

Nothing gives “Fall vibes” as much as markets and apple picking. Harvest Moon Farm & Orchard is an apple and pumpkin picking farm located only 1 hour away from NYC in North Salem. It has incredible scenic views of the countryside and tons of apple varieties to choose from. They’re open year-round but they’re best known for their Fall apple picking and holiday light shows.

3. Momofuku Ssam Bar

89 South Street, Pier 17, New York, NY 10038, USA

Rec by: @sophiagutchinov

Located at Pier 17, Momofuku Ssam Bar is the perfect spot to enjoy the fall breeze, indulge in a delicious meal, and take in all the views of Southstreet Seaport. With an evolving selection of dishes with meat, seafood and vegetarian options, this restaurant’s menu constantly changes based on the current season, so you can come back and expect something new. The environment is lively and fun and the space offers two ways to dine; at the bar and patio, for more casual outings, or the Dining Room, located on the second floor.

4. Yu & Me Books

44 Mulberry St, New York, NY 10013, USA

Rec by: @baobuddy

Many New Yorkers make it a New Year’s resolution of theirs to become a bookworm but never follow up. Well, let Fall 2022 be the season you start! If you don’t know where to get your next book, or if you’re an avid reader and need a new spot to find your next series, we recommend Yu & Me Books. This hidden gem is located in Chinatown and is an Asian American female-owned bookstore. They carry the latest books written by BIPOC authors and if you’re not sure on what to look for and need guidance, feel free to ask the super friendly staff!

5. La Noxe

315 7th Ave Entrance, 162 W 28th, New York, NY 10001, USA

Rec by: @jd.loveless

To end the day on a good note, we recommend stopping by La Noxe, a secret speakeasy bar hidden inside the 28th street subway station. Born from a desire to bring Mediterranean energy into a quintessential New York location, La Noxe is one of the hippest speakeasies to hit NYC. It feels very intimate with a dimly lit environment, full of delicious cocktails, drinks and small bites. Perfect for your next fall date night or outing with friends!
