1. Blood Manor

You know it’s peak Fall season when the Pumpkin Arch is back in NYC. Stroll down Fulton Street to Pier 17 and discover this beautiful frame, decorated covered in fall foliage and pumpkins. This Pumpkin Arch will be on display from October 1st to November 7th, so make sure you stop by in time and get that IG content 😉

3. Brooklyn Horror Film Festival

The Brooklyn Horror Film Festival is a premier East Coast film festival that embodies the eclectic spirit of its namesake. BHFF showcases films that explore horror and dread in new ways—from their unconventional narratives to their unique cinematic styles. Featuring screenings of indie horror films everyday from October 13th until October 20th, this is the perfect spot for a spooky date night activity.

4. Duff’s

Duff’s is a heavy metal bar located in Williamsburg. The bar is frequented by Tri-state metalheads and rock n’ rollers, and is a stop for many heavy metal bands passing through New York City on tours. Notable visitors have included Rob Zombie, Pantera, Iron Maiden, Kerry King of Slayer, Celtic Frost, Exodus, Lamb of God and many others.

5. Freak Bar

When you walk in, you’ll find an offbeat setting inspired by underground art, sideshow culture and energized performances. Freak Bar hosts all kinds of Sideshow themed events and horror movie nights through October and into November, and is the perfect spot for a spooky Friday night with the squad.
